I love working with the Young Women (YW) from church. We always have fun and it reminds me of when I was their age! :-) Here are a few pictures at our last activity. Service Project (sending out packages to Missionaries serving from our area).

Question that sucks - How are you doing ???

I think I am 'officially' sick of the question - "How are you doing?" While I appreciate the sentiment from everyone due to my stroke a couple of weeks ago, I am doing GREAT! and don't need anything! I am up and doing normal things like Laundry, exercise, and dishes. Well, to me they are everyday normal things.
Hope everyone is doing well! It's beautiful out and I don't want to miss the sun! I gotta jet! :-) We might hit 70's this week! Yipee!!! :-)

Diabetes sucks!

The title of this post says it all! I went to a dietician yesterday and she basically confiiirms that I am right! Diabetes sucks but the good thing is this will force me to take better care of myself, which is so true! So far we've cut out so much sugar and salt in my diet - food has started to become boring to me! I love it! Now, I'm on the treadmill everyday - not killing myself but getting some exercise in! My family is crazy about my eating habits and so its only been heathy and my hubby and Sis in law - Leslie have been bugging me about my med's - I hate taking pills but it's ok - it's' my health right!? A big THANK YOU to everoyone for their support and well wishes since my stroke! -Esther

Family Visitiis

After waking up in the hospital, Paul manage to get the word out to everyone that mattered. The next thing I knew .... my family was on their way t0 Milw, WI. Lisa in a few hours, Brooke in the morning and Mom the following daiy. WOW - I guess a stroke can do a lot for someone.

Hospital

This past week, I found myself laying in a hospital bed due to a small stroke I had teaching the young women of our ward. The girls kept asking me if I was ok, after asking them if something looked wrong witih me, one finally ran oooooout to get Paul and the next thing I knew .... I was at St Luke's in a bed waiting for a cat scan...9All is well now, no worries!!!!!!!!!! I am fine and doing 200 % better!
