Lazy Saturday

We took our golden retriever dog - Solomon over to the Grams House for his 1st experience with swimming! He loved it! We are definitely grateful for this .. our last dog -Sampson was scared of the water but could swim .. just not willingly. Here's our dog in the middle of their pond.

Philmont New Mexico

Ray Grams, Bill Burch, & Paul - Bill is a world renowed Widdler - Famous for his Bolo Ties ... his area was always our meeting point after class and meetings.

This is the lifesize display that Paul & Ray tried to get from the General Authorities ... they did not succeed but it was fun watching them try!

Our family banner for FHE & talent show night .. no talent but lots of banner ... lets just say that when Paul introduced us as PaulieEsther ... a lot of people remembered our names!!! no kidding!

The Grams & Duhaceks in front of the Philmont Museum during our freetime. That didn't really seem too much like a real museum.

Paul & I posed in front of the Kit Carson Museum, we went here for a moonlight tour ... it was definitely interesting!

Let's see .. what do I say about Philmont. Would I go back - definitely! Was it a good time - absolutely! Would I recommend it to friends - I would reccomend it to families with kids small and teenager, the program is based around the family! How about couples with no kids - definitely!!! If you ever have a chance to go - don't turn it down! It's well worth it! :-) Here are some pictures that i have of our trip!

TGIS

TGIS - Yes!
Okay, so today was a great day for me! I love Sunday's. Not only it is a day off to remember the Lord and be grateful, it's a free day. ON my 'free day' there was not so much free time but it was okay. The last couple of days we have had crazy storms here! Our highlight were the possible tornados in our area! Yikes! Believe me they never leave anything pretty. Paul is still at IMR doing his woodbadge thing for church ... sorry I meant scouts! Today he called to see if Leslie and I could drive there to bring him some dry clothes, a fan, and some stuff he left behind. So, lucky for him his sister was very generous in doing this. She turned her truck around and came to pick me up. We got to IMR, the weather was actually muggy but still better than last night and we walked into camp. Mosquito infested camp! Ick - the kind that no one wants to be at! But it was ok, Paul spotted us and ran up to grab his stuff and off we went. Back to Milwaukee ... dryland and all (atleast for now). The weather forecast now is for rain! I hate that! :-) But no matter what, I am grateful for the oppurtunity I take to go to church and do what I need to to start my week up on the right foot! So, TGIS! - Thank Goodness it's Sunday! :-)

Table Display of Mormonads
Next Door Troop Display was a lashing project made of rope and wood. The boys had fun climbing it.
On of the Grizzly Bears took a nap while the other two were horse playing around with each other.

Last week was a filled week of havoc! Anytime Paul or I are getting ready for a big event the week prior is always crazy! First I found out officially that I am attending Girls Camp so that is another meeting to add to our schedule and Paul had his Scouting at the Zoo thing this past Saturday and we went to setup on Friday Night so that it would be easier for them to just come in display the posters and materials. The subject displayed was how Duty to God is incorporated with the Scouting program. Sounds like the boys had a great time! The weathehr was perfect! When we got home or place was at 76 degrees and that is high for the end of May here in Wisconsn! I've tried loading some pictures up but something is wrong with Blogger, I'll try later! Today I'm working on a slideshow for 3 of my Laurels that are graduatiing form High School. I only hope that it does them proud and that they enjoy it. We are having a celebration for the Girls this Wednesday during activities. They all look so cute in their pictures! I am sure their parents are proud! -enjoy.
